Dhaka, March 19, 2025: The Bangladesh men’s cricket team is expected to tour Pakistan in May for a white-ball series comprising three ODIs and as many T20Is.
If finalized, this will mark Bangladesh’s second consecutive tour of Pakistan following their historic 2-0 Test series victory last year. The series is likely to take place soon after the conclusion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, which runs from April 11 to May 18.
Originally part of the Future Tours Programme (FTP), the series was postponed due to scheduling conflicts. However, discussions during Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chairman Faruque Ahmed’s recent visit to Pakistan for ICC Champions Trophy 2025 meetings have revived the plan.
“I would like to thank PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi for the invitation,” Ahmed stated. “Both boards have discussed the possibility of arranging a white-ball series outside of the FTP, and talks are ongoing to finalize the schedule.”
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi welcomed Ahmed’s visit and expressed appreciation for Bangladesh’s support of the Champions Trophy 2025. He confirmed that discussions between the two boards have been ongoing for several weeks.
Reports from Dhaka suggest that the matches will likely be hosted in Faisalabad, Multan, and Lahore.
