Lahore, March 12, 2025: The National T20 Cup 2024-25 is set to kick off on Friday, March 14, featuring 18 teams from 16 regions competing in an action-packed tournament. A total of 39 matches will be played across three cities – Faisalabad, Lahore, and Multan.

The Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad will serve as the primary venue, hosting 23 matches, including the knockout stage. Matches in Lahore will take place at Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Ground, while Multan Cricket Stadium will host eight games.

A prize pool of PKR 9.4 million has been announced, with the champions taking home PKR 5 million and the runners-up PKR 2.5 million.

The 18 teams are divided into four groups, with the top two from each group advancing to the quarter-finals. Group A includes Karachi Region (Blues), Lahore Region (Whites), Larkana Region, Peshawar Region and Quetta Region. Defending champions Karachi Region (Whites), Bahawalpur Region, Dera Murad Jamali Region, Islamabad Region and Lahore Region (Blues) are placed in group B. Group C consists of Abbottabad Region, Faisalabad Region, Hyderabad Region and Rawalpindi Region while AJK Region, FATA Region, Multan Region and Sialkot Region are part of group D.

The quarter-finals will be held on March 23 and 24 at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, followed by the semi-finals on March 26 and the final on March 27 at the same venue.

The opening match will see Karachi Whites take on Islamabad Region at Iqbal Stadium under floodlights.
