Pro-Khalistan leader accuses RAW of orchestrating Jaffar Express attack

Islamabad, March 13, 2025: Sikh for Justice, a pro-Khalistan group, has accused India’s intelligence agency, RAW, of masterminding the deadly attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan. The group warned that failure to hold India accountable could lead to more devastating assaults in the future.

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, a leader of Sikh for Justice, claimed that India is waging a covert war against Pakistan and called on international organizations to take action against India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, and RAW for allegedly sponsoring terrorism in the region.

“Under Modi’s leadership, India is not just a regional threat but a full-fledged terrorist state,” Pannun said in a statement, accusing Indian agencies of carrying out assassinations, extremist activities, and destabilization efforts in neighboring countries. He warned that unchecked Indian interference could result in further bloodshed.

The accusations come in the wake of a brutal assault on the Peshawar-bound Jaffar Express in Balochistan’s Bolan district. Heavily armed militants, linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), attacked the train, took passengers hostage, and engaged in a prolonged standoff with Pakistani security forces.

After a two-day military operation, Pakistani forces killed all 33 attackers and rescued the remaining hostages. However, the attack resulted in significant casualties, with 21 passengers and four security personnel losing their lives.

Security sources revealed that the attackers maintained communication with handlers in Afghanistan during the assault, raising concerns about foreign involvement in Pakistan’s internal security threats.

Pakistan has repeatedly accused India of backing militant groups in Balochistan and other regions to destabilize the country. The latest claims by Sikh for Justice add to mounting international scrutiny of India’s intelligence operations, especially after recent allegations that Indian agents were involved in assassinations of Sikh separatists abroad.

Pannun called for diplomatic and security sanctions against India’s intelligence agencies, urging global powers to intervene before the situation worsens.

“The world can no longer turn a blind eye to India’s state-sponsored terrorism,” he said.
