Beijing, September 14,2024- General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), held significant discussions with top Chinese military officials during his official visit to China. General Mirza met with General He Weidong, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC), and General Liu Zhenli, Chief of the CMC Joint Staff Department.
During the meetings, both sides highlighted the deep and historic ties between Pakistan and China, focusing on advancements in their strategic partnership and defense cooperation. The Chinese leadership reiterated its commitment to supporting Pakistan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
In addition to the meetings, General Mirza addressed the 11th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, where he elaborated on Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.
