Amman, April 16, 2025: The volunteer medical team from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully performed cochlear implant surgeries on 40 Palestinian children from the Gaza Strip in Jordan.

As part of the Saudi Sama’a Volunteer Program for cochlear implantation and hearing rehabilitation, the initiative also included speech therapy services and 16 educational sessions for families, benefiting a total of 112 individuals. The program was carried out with the participation of 18 medical professionals from various specialties.

This humanitarian effort reflects the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment, through KSrelief, to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their suffering amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
