Doha, April 22, 2025: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan has purchased a luxurious residence on the upscale St. Regis Marsa Arabia Island in Qatar, just months after surviving a violent knife attack in India. The actor, while speaking to local media, hinted at a possible relocation to the Gulf country, citing its peaceful and secure environment.

Saif shared that he had previously stayed on the same island during a film shoot and was drawn to its tranquility, safety, quality of life, and exceptional cuisine. “It feels like a dream place to live,” he remarked.

Although he did not confirm a permanent move, the actor expressed excitement about bringing his sons, Taimur and Jehangir, to the new home. His remarks on Qatar’s security were seen as a subtle reference to his growing safety concerns in India following the January 2025 attack, in which he was stabbed by an intruder at his Mumbai residence and hospitalized for several days.

Saif currently owns multiple high-profile properties, including the historic Pataudi Palace, a flat in Mumbai, and a residence in the UK. The new home in Qatar may mark a fresh and quieter chapter for the actor and his family.
