Gaza, September 18, 2024-The Israeli military has confirmed the deaths of four soldiers in an ambush in the city of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip. Among the fatalities was an officer, including the deputy commander of the Givati Brigade’s Shaked Battalion.
In a statement released on Tuesday evening, the Israeli army acknowledged that the death toll among its forces has now risen to 714 since the conflict began on October 7. The same statement reported that five other soldiers, including an officer, were injured during the bombing of a building in southern Gaza.
Additionally, two more Israeli soldiers were wounded during the recent clashes in Rafah.
