Islamabad, May 7, 2025: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir paid a visit to the Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Wednesday, where he was warmly received by Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu.

During the visit, General Munir commended the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its swift and decisive response to recent Indian aggression, particularly the successful downing of multiple enemy aircraft. He lauded the professionalism, preparedness, and operational excellence of the PAF in defending Pakistan’s airspace.

The Army Chief also praised the exceptional coordination between Pakistan’s Army, Navy, and Air Force, noting that their joint efforts reflect a unified and robust national defense posture.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to defend its sovereignty, the military leadership stated:

“No one will be allowed to violate our geographical sovereignty. Any act of aggression will be met with a swift and decisive response.”

The visit underscores the strong inter-services cooperation and the military’s readiness to confront any threats to national security.
