Lahore, May 12, 2025: The remaining matches of the 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) are likely to be staged in Rawalpindi, as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) moves to resume the tournament following a brief suspension.
According to media reports, PSL officials have notified franchises that foreign players should remain in Dubai, while preparations to restart the league are being finalized. Domestic players have also been advised to stay mentally prepared and are expected to assemble in Islamabad soon.
While the official schedule has yet to be released, sources indicate that the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will serve as the sole venue for the remaining matches.
The PSL administration has already initiated logistical planning, including arrangements for accommodation, transport, ground staff, and security, to ensure the smooth completion of the tournament.
Before its suspension, the PSL had entered its final phase, with Quetta Gladiators topping the table with six wins in nine matches and having already secured a playoff spot. Karachi Kings and Islamabad United are close behind with 10 points each, followed by Lahore Qalandars with nine points. Peshawar Zalmi remain in playoff contention, while Multan Sultans have been eliminated, managing just one win in nine games.
The remainder of the tournament includes five league matches followed by three knockout fixtures: the Qualifier, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and the Final.
An official announcement from the PCB regarding dates and match details is expected in the coming days.
