Biratnagar, Nepal, May 16, 2025: In a significant development for regional cricket, the Nepal T-10 Cricket Tournament has announced Tennis Ball Cricket Premier League (TBCPL 10) as its official title sponsor ahead of the tournament’s upcoming edition. The competition is set to be held from May 18 to May 24, 2025, at the MBJ Cricket Ground in Biratnagar-6.
The tournament will feature seven dynamic franchise teams: NBSC Lion, Agro Vet Cricket Club, Biratnagar Cricket Club & Academy, Biratnagar Panthers, United Lion Heart, Mills Cricket Club, and Koshi Pride. Each team is expected to bring its own flair to what promises to be a high-energy tournament.
As the title sponsor, TBCPL 10 will support a wide range of promotional initiatives for the Nepal T-10, marking a milestone partnership between two forward-thinking cricket entities. The Nepal Cricket Association has officially sanctioned the event, granting full approval for the matches to be held in Biratnagar.
Speaking at the partnership announcement, a TBCPL 10 spokesperson shared the league’s enthusiasm:
“With our involvement in the Nepal T-10, we truly believe that we are establishing our global presence. This partnership reflects our commitment to promoting grassroots cricket internationally.”
TBCPL 10 has gained recognition as a pioneering force in the formalization of tennis ball cricket—an informal but wildly popular format of the game often played on streets and in community grounds. The league’s innovative model, which industry insiders have lauded as one of the most sustainable in the world of cricket, seeks to elevate casual tennis ball matches into professional sporting experiences.
The collaboration between Nepal T-10 and TBCPL 10 signifies a step forward for both competitive cricket and grassroots development in South Asia, offering emerging players a platform to showcase their skills in a professional setting.
