Rawalpindi, May 29, 2025: Security forces eliminated five terrorists affiliated with India-backed groups in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

According to the military’s media wing, the first operation was launched in the Loralai district on confirmed intelligence about the presence of terrorists linked to the India-sponsored group Fitna al Hindustan. During an intense exchange of fire, four terrorists were killed. Security personnel recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site.

The ISPR confirmed that the slain terrorists were directly involved in multiple terrorist activities, including two major attacks on the N-70 highway near Rarasham on August 26, 2024, and February 18, 2025, which claimed the lives of 30 innocent civilians.

“These terrorists had long been under surveillance and were actively pursued by law enforcement agencies,” the statement noted.

In a separate operation in Kech district, security forces engaged and killed one more terrorist during a brief encounter.

The ISPR reaffirmed the military’s unwavering resolve to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism from Pakistani soil. “The armed forces remain fully committed to bringing all perpetrators and their facilitators to justice,” the statement concluded.
