Dr. Asima presents credentials as Pakistan’s ambassador to the Philippines

Manila, June 11, 2025:  Dr. Asima Rabbani formally presented her credentials as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of the Philippines to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. during a ceremony held at Malacañang Palace.

Following the presentation, Ambassador Rabbani held a meeting with President Marcos Jr., where both sides reaffirmed the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and the Philippines. The discussion focused on avenues to deepen bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors, including trade, investment, leadership exchanges, and collaboration at international forums.

The ambassador expressed Pakistan’s commitment to further strengthening diplomatic and economic ties, while President Marcos Jr. welcomed the continued engagement between the two nations.
