Rawalpindi, June 12, 2025: Senior leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) were denied access to meet the party’s incarcerated founder, Imran Khan, at Adiala Jail after they arrived beyond the official visiting hours.

The group, which had earlier gathered at Factory Naka before proceeding to the prison gate on Thursday, was informed by jail authorities that the allotted time for meetings had ended. As a result, they were unable to meet with Khan and returned without any interaction.

Among those attempting the visit were PTI leaders Nisar Jutt, Alamgir Khan, Changez Khan Kakar, and Rizwan Siyan. Additional party members including Syed Fakhar Jehan, Fazal Hakim, and Arshad Sahi also reached the jail in hopes of meeting the former prime minister.

The development comes amid escalating political tensions and growing public interest in the legal and physical condition of Imran Khan, who remains behind bars facing multiple charges.

Party sources expressed frustration over the denied meeting, terming it yet another hurdle in PTI’s ongoing struggle to maintain communication with its leader during a politically charged period.
