LAHORE: Khalid Masood Sandhu, President of the Pakistan Markazi Muslim League (PMML), has announced a nationwide membership campaign aimed at engaging citizens and mobilizing public support. The campaign will leverage digital media to facilitate membership through an online registration form.

At a press conference in Lahore, Sandhu, along with leaders Saifullah Kasuri and Haris Dar, stated that the PMML is committed to providing talented and honest leadership for Pakistan. The membership campaign will officially launch on October 1st, targeting the inclusion of millions of men and women.

Sandhu noted, “Political parties in Pakistan are currently focused on personal interests and power struggles. Recent attempts at manipulating constitutional amendments are proof of this. While the people are suffering from inflation, the rulers have pledged the country to the IMF for another three years.”

The PMML’s sub-organizations have been assigned specific goals for the membership drive. The Ulema Mashaikh wing will organize membership events outside mosques, while the youth wing, the Muslim Youth League, will set up camps at parks, sports grounds, food
Banners will be displayed on major highways, and a monitoring desk has been established to oversee the campaign. The central leadership will visit key cities across all four provinces to promote participation.

Sandhu emphasized the importance of creating a safe, united, and stable Pakistan, free from racial, religious, and sub-national conflicts. He urged citizens to join the PMML to contribute to the development of a welfare-oriented Pakistan that prioritizes education, health, and the protection of minority rights.

Haris Dar added, “The youth of Pakistan are currently facing disappointment, but the PMML is here to engage them in constructive activities and lift them out of despair. Further more, Pakistan Markazi Muslim League emphasised that the party believes in Safe, United and Stable Pakistan as its primary goal for which it encourages National Dialogue and Reconciliation.
