Aghdam, Azerbaijan, July 1, 2025: In a major step toward strengthening regional ties and advancing youth development, Pakistan and Azerbaijan signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of youth affairs.
The agreement was signed during a formal ceremony held on June 1, 2025, in Aghdam, Azerbaijan. Representing Pakistan, Miss Syed Amnah Batool, Focal Person for the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), signed the MoU on behalf of the Government of Pakistan.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering mutual understanding, promoting youth-led initiatives, and encouraging intercultural exchange between the two nations. It also highlights the growing strategic relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, particularly in the spheres of education, capacity-building, and regional collaboration.
Officials from both sides expressed optimism that the MoU would serve as a foundation for long-term youth engagement, empowering young people through collaborative programs, leadership training, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
