Lahore, July 8, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20 International series against Bangladesh, scheduled to begin on July 20 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka.

All-rounder Salman Ali Agha will continue to lead the national T20I side, while vice-captain Shadab Khan and pace spearhead Haris Rauf have been ruled out due to injuries.

Shadab recently underwent successful surgery on his right shoulder in the United Kingdom — an injury that had been hampering his performance for some time. Haris Rauf, meanwhile, sustained a Grade 1 hamstring injury while playing for the San Francisco Unicorns during their victory over the Texas Super Kings in the ongoing 2025 edition of Major League Cricket (MLC).

In a boost to the squad, Salman Mirza has been included after an impressive showing in PSL 10 for Lahore Qalandars, where he claimed nine wickets in four matches at an average of 15.00 and an economy rate of 9.64.

The Pakistan team is set to arrive in Bangladesh on July 16, with the T20I series to be played on July 20, 22, and 24 in Dhaka.

The two sides last faced off in May 2025, when Pakistan registered a comprehensive 3-0 series sweep at home.

Pakistan Squad for Bangladesh T20I Series includes Salman Ali Agha (captain), Abrar Ahmed, Ahmed Daniyal, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas Afridi, Mohammad Haris (wk), Mohammad Nawaz, Sahibzada Farhan (wk), Saim Ayub, Salman Mirza and Sufyan Moqim.
