Mumbai, October 7, 2024: The much-anticipated first collaboration between Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Indian actress Vaani Kapoor, titled “Abeer Gulal”, has officially begun filming. A picture from the set has gone viral on social media, generating excitement among fans. The first look of the film has also been released, further fueling the anticipation.

The news was confirmed by an international entertainment publication, which revealed that the film is being shot at various locations in and around London.

Director Aarti S. Bagdi shared some details about the plot, describing it as a story about two individuals who unknowingly help each other heal, leading to an unexpected romance.

The film’s producers, Vivek B. Aggarwal, Avantika Hari, and Rakesh Sippy, expressed their enthusiasm for the project. They noted that Fawad Khan has a massive global fan base and are confident that audiences and his fans will wholeheartedly embrace the film.

Filming for Abeer Gulal is set to continue in the UK throughout October and November, with the release planned for late 2025 or early 2026. There are also reports that Malaika Arora and Ridhi Dogra will join the cast next month in the UK.

Fawad Khan made his Bollywood debut in 2014 with Khoobsurat, and his last Bollywood film was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016.
