New Delhi: Begum Noreen Sami Khan, mother of singer Adnan Sami, who moved from Pakistan to India and obtained Indian citizenship, has passed away at the age of 77.
Adnan Sami shared the news of his mother’s passing on Instagram, stating, “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the demise of my beloved mother, Begum Noreen Sami Khan.” He expressed deep grief, describing her as a wonderful person who spread love and joy to everyone she encountered. “We will miss her immensely. Please pray for her soul,” he added.
Adnan Sami also shared a photo of his mother, noting her birth year as 1947. He prayed, “May Allah grant our dear mother a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, Ameen.”
