Islamabad, August 11, 2025: The auction process of properties belonging to proclaimed offenders in the £190 million case is in progress, with a major sale recorded on Monday.
According to court directives, Assistant Commissioner Secretariat conducted the auction at the Revenue Office in Bhara Kahu. The proceedings began with a Union Council member announcing that only those holding a pay order of Rs 5 million would be eligible to obtain a token and participate in the bidding.
During the auction, no bids were received for 248 kanals of land owned by Farhat Shahzadi, commonly known as Farah Gogi, leading to the postponement of its sale.
In contrast, 405 kanals of land belonging to Ali Riaz Malik were successfully sold at a rate of Rs 3.42 million per kanal.
The auction is part of the court-ordered recovery process in connection with the high-profile £190 million corruption case.
