Rawalpindi, September 12, 2025: Security forces killed four militants linked to the Indian-backed network Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Mastung district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Thursday.

According to the military’s media wing, troops engaged the militants in a heavy exchange of fire, during which all four were killed. A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was also recovered.

The ISPR said the slain militants were involved in multiple terrorist acts in the area. Clearance and sanitisation operations are continuing to secure the locality.

Reaffirming its resolve, the ISPR stated that Pakistan’s security forces remain “fully committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country” and will ensure those responsible are “brought to justice.”

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the operation, commending the professionalism and bravery of the forces. “This successful action has thwarted the nefarious designs of India-backed terrorists. The nation takes pride in the courage and dedication of our security personnel,” he said.
