PM Shehbaz assures Bilawal addressing PPP’s concerns

Islamabad, October 16, 2025: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assured Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that the government will address his party’s concerns.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad, accompanied by a PPP delegation. The Prime Minister welcomed Bilawal and his team upon their arrival.

The PPP delegation included Nayyar Bukhari, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Sherry Rehman, and Ali Qasim Gillani. Federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Rana Tanveer, Attaullah Tarar, and Rana Mubashir Iqbal, along with Adviser to the Prime Minister Rana Sanaullah and Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Ahmad Khan, were also present at the meeting.

According to sources, Bilawal Bhutto raised the party’s reservations regarding the Punjab government. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured him that these concerns would be resolved.

It was further reported that both the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the PPP agreed to resolve issues causing friction between the two allied parties through dialogue and mutual consultation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the PPP is an important coalition partner, and the government values its relationship with respect and appreciation.

During the meeting, the delegation also commended Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for Pakistan’s constructive role in the Gaza peace agreement. Both sides discussed the overall political and national situation in the country.
