CDA holds auction of confiscated material, dismantle parts of vehicles

Islamabad, October 27, 2025: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) successfully conducted an open auction of confiscated material and dismantled parts of vehicle today, 27th October 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The event took place at the Enforcement Directorate’s store located in H-8/1, Islamabad.

The auction was supervised by the Auction Committee, chaired by the Director Enforcement and comprising Deputy Director Finance-II, Assistant Director (Admin) Enforcement, and Cost Accountant (Member-cum-Secretary). To ensure complete transparency, the Security Directorate also oversaw the proceedings.

A total of 40 enthusiastic bidders participated in the auction, offering competitive bids for the confiscated material. After an open and transparent process, Mr. Akhtar Gul (Token No. 23) offered the highest bid amounting to Rs. 7,750,000/- on account of confiscated material, which stood 103.95% above the reserve price. Similarly, the same bidder offered the highest bid Rs. 340,000/- of on account of dismantle different tyre’s which is 125.40% above of the reserve price. Furthermore, Mr. Rehmanullah (Token No. 6) quoted highest bid Rs. 165 per kg on account of dismantle parts of vehicles which stood 50% above the reserve price. The successful bidders promptly deposited 25% of their respective bid amounts on the spot, in accordance with CDA’s rules and procedures.

The items auctioned had been confiscated during various anti-encroachment operations carried out across Islamabad and subsequently stored at the Enforcement Directorate’s premises. The entire auction process was conducted in line with CDA’s approved and transparent procedures.

The successful conclusion of this auction reflects CDA’s firm commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficient management of public assets. The Authority continues to take proactive measures to ensure that confiscated materials are handled and disposed of through fair, competitive, and transparent means for the benefit of the public exchequer.
