Virginia, November 2, 2025: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, has emphasized the need to boost economic cooperation between Islamabad and Washington to further strengthen bilateral relations.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Pakistan-US Business Conference and Expo held in Virginia, Ambassador Sheikh highlighted the importance of aligning Pakistan’s business strategies with the dynamics of the US market. He noted that robust trade and investment partnerships were vital for building sustainable and mutually beneficial ties between the two countries.

“Diplomacy creates opportunities, but it is up to the business community to take advantage of them,” the ambassador said, encouraging greater participation from entrepreneurs and investors.

The conference, attended by members of the Pakistani diaspora, investors, and business leaders, featured discussions on potential areas of collaboration in technology, agriculture, textiles, and renewable energy. Participants underscored the need for policy reforms, innovation, and enhanced connectivity to expand Pakistan’s export footprint in the US market.

Ambassador Sheikh reaffirmed the embassy’s commitment to facilitating business linkages and supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening Pakistan-US economic engagement.
