Islamabad – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has formally declared that it will not support the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar made the announcement during a press conference in Islamabad, joined by JUI-F leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman.

Barrister Gohar reiterated that PTI will stand against the amendment, stating, “We are adhering to the directives of our founding leadership, and the party has already taken a principled stance on this issue.”

He also revealed that PTI MNAs have faced pressure and intimidation to influence their vote on the amendment. The PTI chairman expressed appreciation for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s role in the process, noting, “We hold no grievances with the JUI-F leader, and our relationship will continue in the future.”
