Islamabad, November 13,2025: The Rasm-i-Qul for the late Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, was held at his residence, on Thursday.

Renowned religious scholar Hafiz Naseem Khalil led prayers for the elevation of the departed soul, forgiveness, and fortitude for the bereaved family. Speaking on the occasion, Hafiz Naseem Khalil said that Irfan Siddiqui was a true devotee of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). “His deep love and reverence for Allah and His last Messenger (PBUH) can be felt in his writings, particularly in his book ‘Makkah Madinah’,” he added.

A large number of prominent personalities, senior journalists, columnists, relatives, and people from various walks of life attended the gathering and joined in collective prayers. Participants paid rich tribute to Senator Irfan Siddiqui’s intellectual, literary, journalistic, and political contributions, describing him as a man of knowledge, compassion, and enlightened thought who, through his writings and parliamentary role, helped raise social awareness. Condolences continued with the late senator’s sons, Imran Siddiqui and Noman Siddiqui and other family members.

Senator Siddiqui passed away on November 11 at the age of 82 in a local hospital in Islamabad after an illness. His death has deprived the nation of a visionary scholar, journalist, and patriotic political leader.
