Zimbabwe set Pakistan 148-run target in Tri-Nation Series opener

Rawalpindi, November 18, 2025: Zimbabwe posted 147 for 8 in their allotted 20 overs, setting Pakistan a target of 148 in the opening match of the T20 Tri-Nation Series at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

After Pakistan won the toss and elected to field, Zimbabwe’s openers delivered an impressive start, putting up a solid 77-run partnership. Brian Bennett top-scored with 49, while Tadiwanashe Marumani added 30 to build early momentum.

Pakistan clawed back after the opening stand, with bowlers making timely breakthroughs. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza held the innings together with a composed, unbeaten 34, helping his side finish with a competitive total.

For Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz picked up two wickets, while Abrar Ahmed, Saim Ayub, and Shaheen Shah Afridi claimed one wicket each.
