Islamabad, November 19, 2025: Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry visited Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) in Islamabad on Wednesday, where he received a warm welcome from the university’s faculty and students.

During an interactive session, the ISPR DG spoke at length about Pakistan’s internal security landscape, national defence matters, and the professional duties of the Pakistan Army. He also discussed the growing challenge of misinformation, underscoring the need to distinguish between social media propaganda and credible information.

QAU Vice Chancellor praised the DG ISPR for sharing candid insights, noting that his observations regarding India had been reinforced internationally, where Pakistan’s armed forces had demonstrated an edge over Indian technological systems.

Students and faculty described the session as highly informative, saying it helped dispel several misconceptions and provided clarity on issues of national importance. Many students expressed pride in their Pakistani identity, stating that the Pakistan Army represents the people of the country. They thanked Lt Gen Chaudhry for offering detailed and reasoned responses to their questions, particularly on the spread of misinformation.
