The win took the Warriors to second on the points table, just behind the unbeaten Quetta Qavalry

Abu Dhabi, : The Northern Warriors rode on an impressive bowling performance as they defended 138 runs to beat the UAE Bulls by 35 runs in the ongoing 2025 Abu Dhabi T10, moving to second on the points table. The batting performance was led by New Zealand veteran Colin Munro, who was ably supported by cameos from West Indian stars Johnson Charles and Shimron Hetmyer.

With the ball, it was an all-round effort as Azmatullah Omarzai, Shahnawaz Dahani and Shahid Bhutta got two wickets each.

Munro carried the bat in style for the Warriors, scoring 77 runs of 35 balls at a rate on 220. He kicked off the innings with a four on the first ball itself, and continued this momentum while also ably rotating the strike with his teammates. After a 73-run partnership with Charles (25 off 12), Ubaid Shah bagged the only wicket of the Warriors’ innings, with the ball landing in Iftikhar Ahmed’s hands in the fifth over. Hetmyer (28 off 14) then joined the party as he and Munro took the score to an unassailable 138.

With a tough task on their hands from the beginning, Azmatullah struck first, getting Englishman Phil Salt (6 off 6) in just the second over. In the very next over, Dahani got Rovman Powell (3 off 3) for just 3 runs, as the UAE Bulls began to collapse. Tom Moores (12 off 12) hit a four and six off Shahid Bhutta, but was caught out by Boult in the very next ball as the wickets continued to fall. Despite finding the odd boundary, the Warriors’ bowlers kept the pressure on their opponents, eventually restricting them to just 103 runs at the end of their innings.

Aspin Stallions outclass Deccan Gladiators with dominant all-round display

Aspin Stallions, on Tuesday, capped their innings with a commanding 134/2 before defending the total with composure to defeat Deccan Gladiators by 33 runs. Rahmanullah Gurbaz (48 off 24) set the tone with a blistering start, while Sherfane Rutherford (48* off 18) and Ben Cutting (15* off 7) powered a late surge, including a 22-run final over, to put the Stallions firmly on top.

The Gladiators’ reply never truly ignited despite Andre Russell (18 off 8) and Nicholas Pooran (29 off 15) briefly threatening. Regular breakthroughs hurt their rhythm, with Hafeez-ur-Rehman (2/13) picking two key wickets and support coming from Tymal Mills and company in form of a wicket each. Marcus Stoinis (19 off 14) tried to stabilise the chase, but the mounting required rate proved unmanageable and the Gladiators closed on 101/6, as the Stallions completed a clinical all-round performance.
