California, November 27,2025: American-Pakistani politician Mohammad Arif has strongly rejected the false reports circulating on social media claiming the death of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, calling the rumors “baseless propaganda” aimed at creating panic in Pakistan.

In a statement issued on Thursday, Arif said the fabricated news appears to be part of a disinformation campaign allegedly driven by elements in India and Afghanistan. He said the objective behind such rumors is to “spread fear, confusion, and instability among the Pakistani public.”

“This is a clear example of how the enemies of Pakistan are trying to damage our unity by spreading hate and misinformation,” Arif said. “Their goal is to divide Pakistanis at a time when unity is our greatest strength.”

He urged the public to remain cautious, verify information from reliable sources, and avoid falling for unconfirmed reports circulated on social media.

“Instead of giving space to such fake news, Pakistanis must come together on the same page. Do not believe anything that is not verified or officially confirmed,” he added.

Arif emphasized that spreading false information about national leaders not only creates unnecessary panic but also serves the interests of those who seek to destabilize Pakistan.

The politician called for responsible use of media and social platforms, highlighting that unity and vigilance are essential to counter disinformation campaigns targeting Pakistan.
