Dubai/Islamabad, November 27,2025: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Thursday announced that Pakistan Television Corporation (PTVC) and Myco have secured the broadcast and digital media rights for all ICC events in Pakistan until 2027, guaranteeing nationwide access to top-tier men’s and women’s global cricket.

Under the new rights cycle, PTVC will hold broadcast television rights in partnership with Myco and Geo Super, while Myco will exclusively manage digital rights. Myco will work with major streaming platforms, including Tamasha, Tapmad, and ARY Zap, to provide extensive live coverage for Pakistan’s expanding digital cricket audience.

The agreement covers a rich slate of ICC events across three years, including major senior men’s and women’s tournaments as well as multiple U19 competitions, reaffirming Pakistan’s position as one of world cricket’s most engaged and passionate markets.

Men’s events

  • ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 (India & Sri Lanka)
  • ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 (England)
  • ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 (South Africa & Zimbabwe)
  • ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 (Zimbabwe & Namibia)
  • ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2028 (Venue TBC)

Women’s events

  • ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 (England)
  • ICC Women’s T20 Champions Trophy 2027 (Sri Lanka)
  • ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027 (Bangladesh & Nepal)

ICC Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta welcomed the agreement, calling Pakistan “one of cricket’s most passionate and vibrant markets.”

“We are delighted to confirm this new media rights agreement in Pakistan ahead of an exciting period of growth for cricket,” Gupta said. “Our priority is to ensure Pakistani fans receive world-class access and enriched experiences across broadcast and digital platforms.”

He added that the ICC looks forward to deepening its longstanding relationship with PTV and working closely with Myco and streaming partners, with the aim of widening cricket fandom in Pakistan and enhancing viewing experiences.

PTV’s Executive Director Sports, Aaliya Rasheed, said the successful acquisition underscores PTVC’s commitment to delivering premium sports content nationwide.

“Securing the broadcast rights reinforces PTV’s mission of providing uninterrupted coverage of the sport’s biggest global moments,” she said. “We are proud to play a central role in bringing ICC tournaments to every household in Pakistan.”

Rasheed noted that the partnership highlights the dedicated efforts of the PTV team and strengthens the national broadcasting landscape.

Myco Managing Director Umair Masoom said the deal reflects Myco’s emergence as a leading digital entertainment ecosystem in Pakistan.

“We are delighted to be entrusted with ICC events through 2027,” he said. “Our focus is on innovation, accessibility, and creating seamless user experiences. This partnership allows us to deliver premium cricket content to millions of fans.”

Masoom added that Myco looks forward to collaborating with Tamasha, ARY Zap, Tapmad, and other partners to expand digital cricket consumption. He also noted Myco’s strategic role with Geo Super, saying, “We are extremely excited to help bring ICC cricket back to television as well.”
