London, January 8, 2026: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr Mohammad Faisal, on Thursday met Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme (PMYP), Rana MashUKhood Ahmad Khan, at the Pakistan High Commission in London to discuss strengthening youth-focused cooperation between Pakistan and the UK.

During the meeting, both sides deliberated on reinforcing bilateral linkages through youth engagement initiatives, exploring employment opportunities, and organising an Overseas Pakistanis Youth Convention. The discussions highlighted the importance of empowering young Pakistanis abroad and connecting them with opportunities linked to Pakistan’s development agenda.

Chairman PMYP appreciated the efforts of the High Commissioner and the Pakistan High Commission team for facilitating meetings with UK-based youth representative bodies. He noted that such engagements would effectively complement the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme’s objectives and extend its outreach overseas.

Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan is currently on an official visit to the United Kingdom, during which he is scheduled to hold meetings with the Commonwealth Secretariat, British Esports, UK-based youth organisations, the UK–Pakistan Trade and Investment Board, and members of the Pakistani youth diaspora studying at leading universities across the UK.
