Pakistan, Egypt review bilateral ties, discuss Gaza situation on sidelines of OIC meeting

Jeddah, January 11, 2026: On the sidelines of the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Jeddah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed Pakistan–Egypt bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple domains. They also exchanged views on the situation in Gaza and broader regional developments.

Both ministers underscored their support for international law and reiterated solidarity with the just cause of the Palestinian people.
