Islamabad, January 15, 2026: Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to Pakistan, served as the Distinguished Guest of Honor at the inauguration of 2World Traders Pakistan, the subsidiary office of Philippine-registered pharmaceutical company 2World Traders Inc., calling the development a significant milestone in strengthening Philippines–Pakistan economic and healthcare cooperation.

Addressing the ceremony, Ambassador Fernandez said the establishment of a Philippine pharmaceutical company in Pakistan reflects growing confidence in Pakistan’s dynamic market and marks a concrete step toward deepening bilateral trade and investment ties. He noted that the presence of 2World Traders in Pakistan opens new avenues for collaboration in vaccines, biological products, healthcare supply chains, and broader business exchange.

“As Philippine Ambassador to Pakistan, enhancing economic relations through mutual investment and expanded trade is a central priority,” Ambassador Fernandez said. “Today’s inauguration is a clear and positive manifestation of that objective.”

Emphasizing the global importance of healthcare, the Ambassador highlighted that vaccines and biological products play a critical role in building resilient health systems. He added that private-sector initiatives such as 2World Traders can simultaneously contribute to public health goals while strengthening economic linkages between the two countries.

Ambassador Fernandez congratulated Mr. Abdul Razzaq Siddiq and the leadership of 2World Traders on the opening of their Islamabad office and expressed optimism that the venture would pave the way for deeper engagement, increased investment collaboration, and expanded trade between the Philippines and Pakistan.

The inauguration was described as another step forward in reinforcing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, amid growing economic engagement between the two countries.
