Davos, January 21, 2026: On the sidelines of the 26th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Finland, Ms. Elina Valtonen.
During the meeting, the two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen and expand Pakistan–Finland bilateral cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade and investment. They also exchanged views on key regional and global developments of mutual interest.
Both sides emphasized the importance of advancing a forward-looking, constructive, and mutually beneficial partnership, reflecting their shared desire to deepen diplomatic and economic engagement in the years ahead.
