Lahore business delegation visits Sri Lanka to promote trade and entrepreneurship

Colombo, January 23, 2026: Honorary Consul of Lahore, Mr. Yasin Joyiah, arrived in Colombo today leading a 24-member business delegation from Lahore, Pakistan, aimed at strengthening trade and business cooperation with Sri Lanka.

During their visit, the delegation is scheduled to meet with Sri Lankan business counterparts, including women entrepreneurs active in sectors such as education, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, steel, crockery, restaurants, food and beverages, and media, including film and television.

The delegation will also hold dialogues with several small-scale entrepreneurs to introduce and promote their products, fostering cross-border business collaboration and exploring new trade opportunities between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
