Islamabad, January 26, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and the Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar, Than Swe, on Monday held delegation-level talks in Islamabad, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors.
During the meeting, both sides reviewed the full spectrum of Pakistan–Myanmar bilateral ties and reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in diverse areas, including religious tourism, people-to-people contacts, and cultural exchanges, aimed at promoting shared prosperity.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international peace and security and agreed to remain in close contact on issues of mutual interest, underscoring their shared desire to further deepen diplomatic engagement and cooperation between the two countries.
