Islamabad, February 1, 2026: The United States has strongly condemned the January 31 terrorist attacks targeting security personnel and civilians in Balochistan, which were claimed by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
In a statement, U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and suffering caused by the attacks. “On behalf of the United States, I extend our deepest sympathies and condolences to the victims of terrorism, their families, and all those affected,” she said.
She emphasized that the people of Pakistan deserve to live without fear or violence and reiterated Washington’s continued commitment to supporting Pakistan’s efforts to maintain peace and stability.
“The United States remains a steadfast partner of Pakistan in its efforts to ensure peace and stability. We stand in solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult time,” the statement added.
