Ishaq Dar meets Uzbek President Mirziyoyev during state visit to Pakistan

Islamabad, February 5, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar called on the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who is currently on a two-day state visit to Pakistan.

During the meeting, Dar conveyed the warm greetings of the President, Prime Minister, and the people of Pakistan to President Mirziyoyev. He emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to its cordial relations with Uzbekistan and expressed confidence that the presidential visit would further strengthen and expand bilateral cooperation.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening and diversifying the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Uzbekistan, highlighting their shared resolve to enhance partnership across multiple sectors.
