Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri passes away after heart attack

Lahore, February 13, 2026: Senior leader and Punjab spokesperson of the Awam Pakistan Party, Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri, passed away early Friday morning after suffering a heart attack, family sources confirmed.

He was shifted to a private hospital late at night but could not survive and breathed his last in the early hours of the day.

His funeral prayer will be offered this evening after Maghrib at Lawrence Road in Lahore.

Qadri had previously served as a member of the Punjab Assembly with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and also held the position of government spokesperson. More recently, he was serving as the spokesperson for the Awam Pakistan Party in Punjab.

Political and social circles expressed deep sorrow over his sudden demise, paying tribute to his services and contributions to the province’s political landscape.
