Riyadh, October 30, 2024 – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during a meeting with Saudi Investment Minister Engr. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Advisor Mohammad Bin Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri, emphasized the importance of sustaining momentum in developing a robust economic partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. The meeting, held alongside the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing economic initiatives and exploring new opportunities for cooperation.

PM Shehbaz expressed gratitude to Minister Khalid Al-Falih for his dedication to advancing economic collaboration and highlighted the potential for mutual benefit, particularly in light of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. He noted the successful outcomes of Al-Falih’s recent Pakistan visit, where several business-to-business agreements were signed with a large private sector delegation. These agreements have begun translating into concrete investment and commercial ventures.

Prime Minister Shehbaz is on a two-day visit to Saudi Arabia, leading Pakistan’s delegation to the 8th Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh. This event serves as a key forum for building on the Pak-Saudi economic relationship and fostering new avenues of investment and trade.
