Gaza, October 30, 2024 – Palestine’s UN representative, Riyad Mansour, has issued a dire warning that hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in northern Gaza face the threat of imminent death for refusing to abandon their homes and land. Speaking at a UN Security Council session on the Middle East, Mansour accused those who protect Israel of enabling the crisis.

Describing the dire conditions, Mansour stated, “Palestinians are besieged, bombed, and starved. They know if they leave, they may never return.” His remarks highlighted the severe hardships endured by those in Gaza’s northern areas, where residents are reportedly resisting displacement despite intense pressure.

Meanwhile, the health ministry in Gaza has reported that the conflict’s death toll has reached 43,163, including 102 fatalities in the last 24 hours alone. Additionally, over 101,500 individuals have sustained injuries throughout the Gaza Strip during the year-long conflict.
