Islamabad, February 25,2026: Mr. Salem Mohammed Al Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, met with Faisal Karim Kundi, Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at the UAE Embassy in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters related to bilateral relations, investment opportunities, and the promotion of mutual cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and Pakistan.

Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding, brotherly, and friendly relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Al Zaabi highlighted the strong religious, cultural, and historical ties shared by Pakistan and the UAE.

He noted that the UAE is considered a second home for Pakistanis, with around two million Pakistanis serving in various sectors and contributing significantly to the development of the UAE.

The Ambassador also expressed the UAE’s need for skilled and technical professionals across various fields, emphasizing that trained individuals from Pakistan, particularly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, would be mutually beneficial.

Governor Faisal Karim Kundi highlighted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s vast investment potential in sectors including mines and minerals, energy, agriculture, and tourism.

He invited UAE investors and business leaders to explore opportunities in the province and benefit from its promising economic landscape.

As part of a humanitarian initiative during the holy month of Ramadhan, Ambassador Al Zaabi presented 3.6 tons of dates on behalf of the UAE for distribution among deserving people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This gesture underscores the deep-rooted friendship and enduring partnership between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
