Lahore, March 3, 2026: The United Christian Hospital Lahore and the Eye Donation Welfare Society formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Sri Lankan Honorary Consulate General in Lahore, marking a new milestone in promoting eye health and restoring vision for those in need.

The initiative was spearheaded by Yasin Joyia, President of the Eye Donation Welfare Society, whose vision and commitment continue to bring the gift of sight to underserved communities.

Under this partnership, members of Pakistan’s Christian community will now have access to corneal transplantation services in Lahore, offering renewed hope and improved quality of life for patients and their families.

The collaboration highlights the role of public-private partnerships in advancing healthcare services and supporting vulnerable populations across the country.
