Dar holds talks with Turkish Foreign Minister on regional tensions

Islamabad, March 4, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a phone conversation with Hakan Fidan on Wednesday evening to discuss the escalating regional situation.

The two leaders exchanged views on ongoing attacks in the region, including the recent attempt targeting Türkiye, and expressed serious concern over the deteriorating security environment. Both emphasized the urgent need for de-escalation and restraint to prevent further instability.

During the discussion, Senator Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s solidarity with Türkiye and underscored the country’s commitment to closely coordinate efforts in support of regional peace and stability.

The dialogue reflects continued diplomatic engagement between Pakistan and Türkiye amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the region.
