Islamabad, March 4, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the evolving regional developments.
During the call, both leaders expressed deep concern over the escalating situation and underscored the imperative of de-escalation, restraint, and strict adherence to international law to safeguard regional peace and stability.
Reaffirming the strong and longstanding ties between Pakistan and Egypt, the two foreign ministers agreed to maintain close coordination and continue consultations to support constructive diplomatic engagement aimed at promoting regional peace and security.
The exchange reflects ongoing diplomatic outreach by Islamabad amid heightened tensions in the region.
