Islamabad, March 7, 2026: Deputy Chairman Senate Syedal Khan Nasar has emphasized the need for unity among political parties, state institutions and the public to effectively address the challenges facing Pakistan and ensure the country’s stability and progress.

He expressed these views while speaking at an Iftar dinner hosted in his honour by former federal minister and ex-senator Saleem Saifullah Khan along with Anwar Saifullah Khan.

The event was attended by ambassadors from various countries, former federal ministers, parliamentarians, media representatives, and prominent social and political figures, as well as notable personalities from Islamabad.

Speaking on the occasion, Nasar said Pakistan is currently facing multiple challenges at both national and international levels. However, he expressed confidence that, as in the past, the country can overcome these difficulties through national unity, collective wisdom and coordinated efforts.

He said it has become imperative for all political parties, institutions and citizens to move forward with a shared national vision in order to safeguard national interests and ensure sustainable development.

The deputy chairman senate noted that the present government is committed to taking all political and social segments of society along in addressing the country’s challenges. He added that Pakistan has successfully faced regional and global challenges in the past, and today the people, government and state institutions stand united to ensure stability and protect national interests.

Nasar further said Pakistan is embarking on a new journey of development and economic stability, and with collective determination, cooperation and unity, the nation can make the country stronger and more prosperous.

During the gathering, special prayers were offered for the country’s peace, progress and prosperity, while participants reaffirmed their resolve to promote national unity and collectively address the national and global challenges facing Pakistan.

On the occasion, Saleem Saifullah Khan thanked the distinguished guests for attending the event, saying such gatherings help strengthen connections among different segments of society, promote harmony and reinforce the spirit of national unity.
