Islamabad, March 7, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, to discuss the evolving regional situation.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region and stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability amid rising tensions.
During the conversation, Dar expressed concern over the recent attacks in the region, including those targeting the United Arab Emirates, and conveyed Pakistan’s solidarity with the UAE government and its people.
Both sides reaffirmed the importance of dialogue and diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and maintain stability in the region.
Pakistan and the UAE share close diplomatic, economic and strategic relations, and the two countries remain in regular contact on matters of mutual interest and regional security.
