Islamabad, March 15, 2026: Chairman Senate Yousaf Raza Gilani held a meeting with Members of the National Assembly Syed Javed Ali Shah and Mehrin Razzaq Bhutto at the Chairman Senate House in Islamabad on Sunday.

During the meeting, the leaders discussed the overall political situation in Sindh, public issues and various development-related matters. They also exchanged views on organizational activities of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the party’s public outreach campaign and strategies to further strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

The participants reaffirmed their commitment to collectively work for resolving public issues and promoting democratic values in the country.

Gilani said the PPP has always struggled for public service, strengthening democracy and ensuring the stability of the federation. He stressed that elected representatives must intensify their efforts to ensure public welfare and national development.

Matters of mutual interest and the broader political situation in the country also came under discussion during the meeting.
