Islamabad, March 17,2026: The High Commissioner of Rwanda called on Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar on Tuesday to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, both sides focused on enhancing ties and exploring mechanisms to operationalize the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in February 2026, particularly in the areas of gender equality, family welfare and child development.

The two sides agreed to establish a joint technical committee in the near future to oversee the implementation and monitoring of the MoU.

The meeting reflects growing engagement between Pakistan and Rwanda, aimed at deepening collaboration in social development sectors.
