Ambassador designate of Portugal to Pakistan meets Turkmenistan envoy

Islamabad, March 25,2026: Portuguese Ambassador-designate to Pakistan Paulo Miguel Guedes Domingues paid a courtesy call on Ambassador of Turkmenistan in Islamabad.

At the outset of the meeting, Ambassador of Turkmenistan A. Movlamov warmly congratulated the Portuguese counterpart on his appointment and conveyed his best wishes for a successful and productive diplomatic mission in Pakistan.

The parties further discussed issues related to the functioning of the Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad and interactions with Pakistani public and private entities.

Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in maintaining regular engagement within the diplomatic community.
